"Bro, do you know how much money a billion is? Actually, definitely not. I’ll never know." At Augusta National, patrons were overheard joking about the number of billionaires present.

Yay, it’s Masters week, with its share of amusing moments! Here are two more to giggle over from recent Masters:
Phil Mickelson's Fans: As Mickelson walked to the 12th tee, someone shouted, "Y’all are cheering for a degenerate gambler! Get in the water!" Poor old Phil he’ll be heckled about this for years to come. He won’t mind in the least, having the last laugh with what LIV enticed him with.
Rickie Fowler's Yardage Book: A patron commented on Fowler and his caddie studying their yardage book, saying, "Honestly, I think the hardest thing about his job would be making sure those little pieces of paper didn’t fly around everywhere." His friend retorted, "You’re such a moron. That would literally be the easiest part of the job. You would be awful." Keep smiling and studying the yardage book Rickie. Form is always up and down for most of us golfers.
Miraculous and Admirable
Considering his love for life on the edge, it is admirable that this legend has stayed true to himself over the years.
I hope charismatic golf legend, John Daly, will continue to make his presence felt during this year’s Masters week. He hasn't competed at Augusta National since 2006. He has a tradition of setting up shop in the Hooters parking lot near Augusta National, where he sells branded merchandise, signs autographs, and poses for photos with fans. Despite his health struggles, including multiple surgeries and a battle with bladder cancer, Daly remains optimistic and engages with fans in his unique way.
One of Daly's humorous remarks this year was about his resilience, saying he's "been dead 11 times" and likening himself to Lazarus. His larger-than-life personality and love for Hooters wings have made him a beloved figure during Masters week.
Augusta National
I’ve only seen it on tv, the leafy tree lined drive to the magnificent clubhouse, on a beautiful, calm, blue sky day. The ‘Pros’ unloading their gear, then heading into the clubrooms as they acknowledge their peers in passing. Anticipation is building, dreams of glory come and go, whoever is the eventual champion will be grateful for the dream turning into reality. A reality he and his loved ones will cherish for years to come. Such is the magic of Augusta National.
Outliers who could be Masters Champion 2025
· Joaquin Niemann a successful LIV performer who has the game to win.
· Patrick Reed another LIV member who is a past Masters Champion.
· Min Woo Lee a PGA winner of 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
· Tom Kim has three PGA wins on his resume.
· Russell Henley who won the Arnold Palmer invitational.
